Role-Based Functional Access
- In addition to the item level access, the functional access is based on role-based access control, each user is provided with a set of privileges through a set of user roles. The privileges can be simple or complex and can be accumulated through a set of roles.
Dual-Layer Authorisation
- Access to an item requires both functional privileges and item level permissions. This dual-layer approach ensures principle of least privilege, meaning users only see and act on what they are authorized for, even if they have broad functional capabilities.
